Freedom is Costly but Priceless
As l began to write this book, on the systematic removal of our true American heritage and the destructive consequences. God gave me the ability to articulate what was in my heart, which I could not share in our conferences in the past, because of time restrictions. For 25 years in our conferences, I would share for 20 minutes, but always felt like I was just scratching the surface of what was in my heart, and I knew God wanted his people to hear. I would become frustrated because I knew God had revealed to me where our country was headed, and without knowledge of why, it could not make a course correction. In 20 minutes in each conference, I would try desperately to share as much as I could, to awaken the people to the dangerous condition our country was in, through a lack of knowledge of our true history, and therefore decades of unfulfilled responsibility.
Our true history reveals the wisdom of how America became a great nation, and how it could remain great. But in such a short period of time, I could only reveal a fragment of the whole picture. It was like having many pieces of a giant puzzle inside of me that I wanted to expose, to give the clarity of the completed puzzle, while only having time to present a few pieces each time I shared. I thank God that through His grace, He has now given me the ability, in this book, to share the clarity of what was in my heart for decades, but could not be fully expressed.
My hope and prayer is that this message will awaken the understanding and create the action in each person to maintain our nation, while there is still time. We have been blessed with not only the privilege to live in this great nation but also the responsibility to maintain it. Unless we, the people of this nation, recognize the storm clouds of ignorance obliterating the knowledge of who we once were, we are doomed to repeat the past mistakes of those who refused to pay attention to history. We still have time to acquire the correct knowledge to learn from our past and make a course correction.
Freedom is costly but priceless. It comes at a high cost and only remains with constant maintenance. “The freedom we have, if not maintained, will not remain. If it’s lost because we failed to pay the cost, we’ll realize too late we’ve created our own fate.” My goal with this book is to present the correct knowledge required to prevent the fate of being too late.
Each of us will be accountable for our part in its outcome. God will not vindicate the irresponsible because they choose to be ignorant when knowledge is available. We cannot hide our incompetence behind our religiosity (the fact that we are Christians) and think that we are unaccountable. Accountability is always required where there is unfulfilled responsibility.
A complacent church and a Christian nation cannot coexist. Why? Because the church is waiting for God to do what God is waiting for the church to do. What is that? It’s a Christian civic responsibility.
P.S. - The deterioration of the internal infrastructure of each individual in a self-governed nation correlates directly with the deterioration of the external infrastructure of that nation. The deterioration of the infrastructure of our homes, schools, churches, government, roads, bridges, and our blessed way of life correlates directly with the lack of accurate knowledge required to maintain the infrastructure of this blessed way of life that God has given us the privilege to experience and the responsibility to maintain. The question is, will we fulfill the responsibility to retain the privilege we’ve been given? Not without accurate knowledge!
History defines our rights and reveals our responsibility. It’s knowledge of our rights and action concerning our responsibility that determines the quality of our freedom. When our history is no longer known, our rights are redefined, and our irresponsibility is revealed, the quality of our freedom deteriorates, and the America we once knew begins to fade and gradually disappear.
